A wonderfully characterful English oil on canvas depicting a terrier seated beside hunting gear, rendered in a rich, dark palette of green, brown and russet. Presented unframed on its original stretcher, the extensive paint loss and timeworn surface give the piece an especially compelling, untouched quality.
Dimensions:
19" L x 1" D x 15" H
Fair antique condition with extensive paint loss, flaking and surface wear throughout. Small puncture to the canvas, with additional wear along the edges.
