A handsome French mirror with an ebonized frame accented by a beautifully painted faux bois finish, creating the appearance of richly figured wood grain. Its softly rounded upper corners and restrained molding give the piece a particularly elegant, graphic quality.
Dimensions:
14" L x 17" H
Good antique condition with age-related wear, losses and surface variation throughout. The frame has visible cracks and areas of finish loss, while the mirror plate shows light foxing and wear consistent with age.
