A striking contemporary painting by British artist Wildheart, known for bold color, expressive brushwork and unconventional compositions. For What It's Worth depicts a mysterious, fiery orange figure in a vividly colored interior, with miniature framed artworks adorning the walls. Richly textured paint and an unexpected combination of color and subject give the work a playful, slightly surreal quality.
Signed by the artist lower right, with the title and signature also appearing on the reverse. Other works by Wildheart have appeared in British auction catalogues and private collections.
Dimensions:
26" L x 2.5" D x 30" H
Good condition with intentional heavy paint texture and visible chips and wear to the painted wooden frame.
