Antique English Pine Housekeeper's Cupboard w/ Arched doors, Cornice, Two-door Base w/ Drawers Below | Circa 1890
A handsome antique English pine wardrobe featuring warm honey-toned timber, paneled doors, generous storage, and beautifully turned bun feet.
Constructed in the traditional knock-down manner, the wardrobe separates into four individual sections for easy moving, installation, and shipping; a practical feature rarely found in modern case furniture. The interior is currently fitted with hanging rails, making it ideal for clothing storage, while the spacious interior can easily accommodate shelves if desired.
The two large paneled doors open to a substantial storage compartment above two deep drawers, offering excellent functionality alongside the character and charm only antique pine can provide. Original pegged construction, hand-cut joinery, and a richly developed patina throughout speak to its age and authenticity.
A versatile piece equally suited for use as a wardrobe, linen press, pantry cupboard, or general storage cabinet.
Dimensions
Length: 60.6”
Depth: 24.8”
Height: 88.2”
Good antique condition with expected wear, marks, shrinkage, and surface imperfections consistent with age and use. Disassembles into four sections for transport.
A timeless English pine piece combining practical storage with over a century of character.
