Warped. Split. Rusted.
Not perfect. And that’s exactly as it should be.
This wonderfully honest English rustic table wears nearly two centuries of use proudly. The seat boards have developed natural movement and separation over time, the iron supports show a rich layer of oxidation, and the surface is marked by generations of wear. These are not flaws to be hidden; they are the qualities that give the piece its character.
Handcrafted around 1880, the bench features a beautifully shaped plank seat, turned legs, hand-forged iron bracing, and rows of large iron studs that add both strength and visual interest. Every crack, knot, and worn edge tells the story of a piece that was built for utility and survived long enough to become sculpture.
The result is a bench with tremendous presence. It’d be perfect in an entryway, beneath a window, at the foot of a bed…really anywhere authenticity is valued over perfection.
Dimensions
Width: 44.5”
Depth: 16.5”

Not perfect. Never intended to be. And far more interesting because of it.
